Being at the heart of the local community we are committed to ensuring all our guests enjoy their experience of shopping with us and offer a wide range of services for people with disabilities. There are lifts (with audio) to all floors of The Mall Blackburn. Our entrances have either automatic doors for easy access and assistance dogs are always welcome. Hearing loops are fitted at our Ask Me Point desk to assist the hearing impaired.
Blackburn Market is also fully wheelchair accessible from all the main entrances. There are lifts to The Mall and Car Park next to TCK Deli.
There are 38 disabled parking bays located near to the entrance/exit doors to The Mall Shopping Centre. Designated disabled parking bays are also available on Church Street, just outside the Markets main entrance.
Disabled toilets are located within easy reach at the County Court entrance. For added peace of mind there is an emergency alarm inside the toilet, should you need it. Changing Places facilities are available in Blackburn Market, these bathroom facilities have more space and equipment including a height adjustable changing bench and hoist.

The Mall understands busy crowds and loud noises can be overwhelming and daunting for some guests and therefore we run a quiet hour from 9am until 10am, Monday to Saturday.
We also hold one quiet hour for children during every family event we run, for details please see our News & Events page for upcoming events.
The Entertainer also run a quiet hour by switching off music and loud demo products in store for the first hour of opening every Saturday.
We want you to shop in comfort. That’s why at The Mall Blackburn we pride ourselves on the accessibility and standards of our toilet facilities. They can be located on the ground floor at the County Court Entrance.
You can also find toilet facilities in the Market, at the back of the hall near the corner of the food court.
It’s no fun for little ones (or you) when they are uncomfortable. At The Mall Blackburn our Parent and Baby room has a changing mat, a baby changing and feeding area It’s clean and secure, so you can all take time-out and refresh. Baby changing is located on the first floor within next to Beauty Spot Warehouse and at Core 5 on level 1 above Finch Bakery.
You can also find baby changing facilities in the Market, at the back of the hall near the corner of the food court.
Free WiFi is available for shoppers at The Mall Blackburn. To access the service, check that WiFi is enabled and select ‘_the mall Free WiFi’ from the list of available networks. Open your internet browser and the landing page should appear. If it is your first time using network follow the simple one-time registration process.
